Robert Pattinson once admitted that one of his most awkward movie scenes was completely real, and said the experience nearly pushed him out of acting altogether.

The Batman star opened up about filming intimate scenes for 2008 drama Little Ashes, where he portrayed surrealist painter Salvador Dali. While the film failed to impress critics and scored just 24 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, Pattinson’s candid confession about what happened on set has continued to follow him years later.

Speaking in a profile for Interview Magazine Germany, Pattinson explained how filming explicit scenes became far more uncomfortable than expected, especially because he felt pretending simply was not believable on camera.

Pattinson revealed: "I once decided to quit acting; it was when I did ‘Little Ashes'.

"I played Salvador Dali and had to do a lot of scenes where I was naked, and I also had to masturbate. I mean really.

“My orgasm face is recorded for eternity."

When asked why he did not fake the moment instead, the actor gave an answer that shocked plenty of fans.

"He continued: "[It] just doesn’t work, so I pleasured myself in front of the camera."

At the time, Pattinson was still building his career before eventually becoming one of Hollywood’s biggest names through the Twilight franchise and later blockbuster roles including The Batman.

Real sex scenes in movies are more common than people think

Pattinson is not the only actor to speak openly about real intimate scenes on screen.

Actress Margo Stilley previously discussed filming 2004 drama 9 Songs, directed by Michael Winterbottom, where every sex scene in the movie was real.

She told the Irish Examiner: "People were really angry with me.

“When I did press conferences people would shout abuse at me."

Stilley later defended the project and rejected criticism surrounding the film.

"People ask me if I felt that Michael Winterbottom took advantage of me because I hadn't acted before, but they forget that I developed the character.

"It was a film about love and sex. It wasn't porn. I mean, I had sex with my boyfriend last night and that wasn't porn. It was just hot sex!"

Pattinson ultimately stayed in Hollywood

Unlike Stilley, Pattinson appeared far less enthusiastic about revisiting his experience filming Little Ashes.

Still, the actor clearly decided not to walk away from the industry after all. Since then, he has gone on to star in some of the biggest films of the last decade, transforming from Twilight heartthrob into one of Hollywood’s most recognisable leading men.

Stilley, meanwhile, remained proud of her role in 9 Songs and said: "9 Songs was a real film about love and sex, and I wanted to do that film and I am proud of it".

The 36-year-old actress discussed the incident during the May 11 episode of Jay Shetty’s podcast, On Purpose with Jay Shetty, while speaking about her upcoming memoir, This Is Me: A Reckoning, which is set for release on May 19.

During the conversation, Shetty referenced a chapter in the memoir in which Panettiere recalls being taken onto a boat by a friend before being led into a room with an older man. “You write about a moment in your career where a friend of yours takes you onto a boat,” Shetty said. “You’re led to a room which has an older man in it and then basically told to perform sexual acts."

Panettiere says she realized she was "in danger"

Panettiere reflected on how young and vulnerable she was at the time, despite believing she was mature enough to handle herself.

“The fact that I was 18, even though I’d lived such a huge life and I thought I was oh so mature at 18 … scientifically, your frontal lobes don’t develop until we’re what, 25, 26?” she said. “So even though I felt like I could make healthy decisions, safe decisions, I wasn’t capable of being fully aware of what was going on around me.”

The actress said her “perspective completely shifted” once she realized she was “in danger,” though by that point she was already trapped in the situation.

“I was quite literally out to sea,” she said.

Panettiere described the experience as “shocking,” explaining that nothing earlier in the evening had made her suspect something was wrong.

“There was no hints of anything like that happening,” she recalled. “So it took me by surprise.”

Someone she trusted brought her aboard

According to Panettiere, the person who brought her onto the boat was someone she deeply trusted.

“It was led by somebody that I had grown to trust and see as a protector and somebody who had my back,” she shared.

The actress recalled being escorted downstairs into a “very small room,” where she said she was placed into bed beside an “undressed” man.

“She physically put me in the bed next to this undressed man who was very famous,” Panettiere said, adding that he appeared to behave “like this was just an average day for him.”

Panettiere said her instincts immediately kicked in as she tried to get herself out of the situation.

“That lion in me, that fire in me … my hair stood on end and I became ferocious,” she recalled. “I was like, ‘This is not happening.’ ”

She felt trapped on the boat

The actress said she fled the room and tried to hide elsewhere on the boat, though she quickly realized there was no easy escape.

“There was no jumping off and swimming away,” she said. “And there was nobody who was going to be empathetic to my situation. I realized that this was nothing new to them.”

Elsewhere in the chat, Panettiere reflected on the emotional fallout of feeling betrayed by someone she once relied on.

“When you really find somebody that you trust, you hold on to them for dear life and you feel so lucky,” she said. “So to be betrayed like that is just an awful feeling.”

Nick Pasqual, 36, has been found guilty of stabbing his girlfriend more than 20 times in a murder attempt.

His charges include attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary with person present, and injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend, or child's parent, Daily Mail reported.

He was found guilty on all counts in a California court on Friday, May 8.

The victim was Pasqual's ex-girlfriend, make-up artist Allie Shehorn, as he reportedly broke into her Sunland home and left her fighting for her life with severe injuries.

He tried to flee to Mexico after the bloody attack, but was eventually arrested on the Fort Hancock International Bridge in tiny Sierra Blanca, Texas, before being taken back to the Golden State.

Why did Pasqual attack Shehorn?

Pasqual, who is known for bit-part roles in the likes of How I Met Your Mother and Archive 81, is also a producer on the comedy series National Day Riff.

At the time of the attempted murder, Shehorn had already filed a restraining order against her former boyfriend.

Back in 2024, she alleged that he hit her with a belt on January 29 and broke down numerous doors in their home on March 6. She also said that he raped and choked her on April 14, that year.

But the order didn't stop Pasqual, as he managed to break into her home and stab her dozens of times, after they had broken up.

The actor has previous convictions, which include a DUI in July 2013 and another the following February.

Shehorn's housemate recalls the incident

Shehorn was found in a horrific state by her housemate, Christine White.

A GoFundMe was set up to help the make-up artist with her medical bills at the time, as it detailed that White "acted fast when she found Allie bleeding out," which ultimately "saved her life."

Speaking in 2024, White said: "This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anybody. You don't think this is ever going to happen to you.

"I found her and I had to go into the bedroom where it happened... that wasn't a pretty sight."

Shehorn spoke out about the murder attempt

Speaking during the trial, the victim recalled: "I locked the door, and he just started punching holes in that door and broke that open, and I just ran into the bathroom because I thought there's another lock on that door."

Shehorn told the Daily Mail in 2024 that she almost died from the stab wounds, highlighting that her former partner cannot get away with his actions.

"I just hope that there's justice served," she said. "People should know that this shouldn't happen, and he can't get away with it."

The special effects make-up artist spent over a week in hospital after the attack and now has scars from the incident, including major scarring to the throat.

She said two years ago that she wasn't sure if she'd be able to return to work, though she admitted it was her "goal".

Having worked on titles such as Mean Girls and Rebel Moon, she admitted at the time: "I still don't have feeling back in my hands and partial vision loss that I can't get back."

The White House press secretary, who has served in Donald Trump’s administration since his return to office, posted a photo on Instagram holding her newborn daughter.

Iran's response to the post

Soon after the announcement, the Iranian embassy in Armenia reposted her message on X and responded with a pointed statement criticizing the Trump administration’s actions in the Middle East.

“Congratulations to you. Children are innocent and lovable,” the embassy wrote. “Those 168 children that your boss killed in the school in Minab, and you justified, were also children.”

The message added: “When you kiss your baby, think of the mothers of those child.”

The comments referred to a missile strike earlier this year during the joint US-Israel military campaign against Iran, which reportedly hit the Shajareh Tayyebeh elementary school in Minab. Officials in the region claimed 168 people were killed, many of them children.

The Iranian embassy in South Africa also shared a separate message aimed at Leavitt, writing: “When your child grows up and reads history, she will be ashamed that you served one of the most hated governments in history.”

The post continued: “Your hands are stained with the blood of many innocent children, like the children of Minab.”

The US Department of War denied targeting civilians

At the time of the strike, US officials denied intentionally targeting civilians. In March, Leavitt told reporters: “The Department of War is investigating this matter.”

She added: “The United States of America does not target civilians, unlike the rogue Iranian regime that targets civilians, that kills children, that has killed thousands of their own people in the past several weeks and uses propaganda quite effectively.”

Pete Hegseth also addressed the allegations during a Pentagon briefing, saying: “We, of course, never target civilian targets. But we’re taking a look and investigating that.”

Trump previously suggested Iran itself may have been responsible for the deaths linked to the attack.

According to UNICEF USA, more than 1,800 children across the Middle East have reportedly been injured or killed since the escalation of fighting earlier this year.

Just weeks before the film hit theaters, Kunis and Timberlake appeared together at the MTV Movie Awards to present the night’s first award, which ultimately went to Robert Pattinson for Best Male Performance.

Vogel claims the timing is "interesting"

Responding to her daughter coming out as bisexual, the mother told the Daily Mail in an interview on Friday: "I do not believe it was being hidden, but there is no historic proof that this is the case."

"I do think the timing of this coming out is very interesting," the mom claimed.

But Panettiere had also opened up about the relationship with her mother, or lack thereof, in a Us Weekly interview, in the same interview where she came out.

She explained this week: "Unfortunately, we don’t have a relationship right now. But that doesn’t mean that I don’t leave the door open for the opportunity to present itself one day.

"It’s hard for me to say, but I’ve chosen to be brutally honest," she admitted to the outlet.

Her admission was the first time she had a public discussion about her sexuality, saying: "That’s something about me I was never able to share with the world, because it was just never the right time."

"It was either I was too young, and I was being forced to be perfect at all times. I was not encouraged to just be myself."

The 36-year-old went on: "Then came the period where it felt like people coming out, especially women, saying that they were bisexual or liked girls, was a fad. I was afraid that if I was honest, it was going to be like me jumping on the bandwagon.

"It’s sad I had to wait until I was 36 years old to share that part of me, but better late than never, right?" Panettiere said.

She then added: "I'm comfortable to confidently say that yes, I am bisexual. I said it! This is the first time I got to say it out loud."

Having "very little privacy" made it hard for Panettiere

She told the publication that she hadn't been in love with a woman, describing it as "scary" previously.

"It was scary, though, because there were paparazzi always waiting for me outside, to follow me everywhere. I had very little privacy," she said of dating women in the past.

"I have dated women. I was much more into women even as a child than I was men."

Panettiere explained that while she had explored it, she avoided sharing it, adding: "I didn’t really have the courage to throw myself fully emotionally into it.

"Because then if I did fall in love, that wasn’t something that I wanted to ever have to hide," she concluded.

Turkish content creator Ayşegül Eraslan, 27, was found dead in her home in the northeastern municipality of Kağıthane, according to local outlets Sözcü and Cumhuriyet.

But it seems that Eraslan's family has been critical of the ongoing investigation into her passing.

Local police have used forensic laboratories to take a closer look at the influencer's phone, written notes in her home, and blood samples found on the knife, which was believed to have been used to kill Eraslan.

Yet her family isn't satisfied, as Sözcü obtained a statement from their lawyer, claiming that they have more evidence.

Allegedly, the Turkish influencer was blackmailed with sexually explicit photos before her death, while the lawyer asked the police to be more transparent in their investigation.

What happened to Ayşegül Eraslan

Eraslan had over 361,000 followers on Instagram, where she would share outfits and travel snaps with her fans.

She appeared on popular Turkish fashion competition show İşte Benim Stilim (meaning "This Is My Style"), which launched her to stardom and allowed her to pursue a career as an influencer.

The Turkish publication reveals that Eraslan's relatives visited her home on March 13 after they couldn't contact her, as they alerted authorities when nobody came to the door.

Once police entered, they found the influencer lifeless, before a medical team pronounced her dead at the scene.

It was later revealed that the 27-year-old had just returned home from a trip to Egypt on March 11 and entered the building she lived in with her luggage.

Police then reviewed security footage, revealing that actor Sunay Kurtuluș had entered the apartment just an hour before her death, as he stayed there temporarily before leaving.

Sunay Kurtuluș's statement on the death

Turkish outlet Cumhuriyet reported that police did question Kurtuluș, who was released after giving his statement to them.

The actor's lawyers took to Instagram to share a statement on the matter, revealing that he was "only questioned as part of the investigation and has provided the necessary statements to the relevant authorities from the very beginning of the process."

They further claimed that he wasn't at the scene of the incident when it occurred, also criticising news outlets that painted him as the "primary party involved".

The statement also read: "We are deeply saddened by the passing of Ayşegül Eraslan,

"We pray for God's mercy upon her and offer our condolences to her family, relatives, and loved ones," they added.

Last month, the couple posted a TikTok explaining the rules they follow in their marriage.

"I’m 26, and I’m 60, and these are non-negotiables in our age-gap relationship," the pair said at the start of the clip while sitting together outside their lake house.

Rule 1: Praying Together

The couple explained the first rule in their relationship, which is praying together every night before bed.

"Something we’ve implemented in our marriage is that we pray together every single night," they shared.

"Regardless of your faith, the intentionality that goes into expressing gratitude… It’s a great way to center ourselves together and individually."

Rule 2: They don’t drink unless they're with each other

Their second non-negotiable, which quickly became the most controversial online, is that they do not drink alcohol unless they are together.

"There’s a vulnerability in drinking and being intoxicated, and that’s not something I wanna be without my partner present," Gracen explained.

Her husband added: "This was a decision we each made individually. We didn’t impose it on one another… Rather than looking at [it] as limiting or controlling, we look at it as uniquely special and uniquely committed to one another."

Kevin also explained why the boundary matters to him personally. "You can’t have two or three or four or five drinks unless you have one drink. And I just choose not to do that when I’m out alone," he added.

Rule 3: Serving each other through conflict

Another one of their relationship rules is continuing to care for each other even during arguments.

"It’s easy to serve somebody when it’s 70 and sunny, but when a thunderstorm rolls through… it becomes a little more difficult," Kevin said.

"The disagreement can stand on its own… It’s not going to affect our kindness and courtesy toward one another."

He then quipped: "If you get a head massage from somebody that’s pissed off at you, you know you’re loved."

Rule 4: Not "keeping score" in the marriage.

"[My father] said that a lot of couples, their goal is to each give 50 percent… he said that’s a terrible goal in a marriage. It should be 100 percent each,” Kevin explained. "You both give your all, and that’s how you can make it work."

“The worst thing you can do...is keep a list, or even take notes on their phone of the ways they’ve been slighted - don’t do that. Don’t keep it in your heart or mind, release it," he added.

Critics question the couple's rules

The TikTok amassed 13.7 million views and quickly sparked backlash online, with many viewers taking issue with the couple’s alcohol rule.

"If you don’t ‘allow’ one another to consume alcohol without your significant other, this only proves your lack of self-control. Whether the lack of self-control stems from an internal source or external, this only proves irresponsibility,” one person commented.

Others slammed the couple’s age gap, lifestyle, and even body language. "This is how bad I want a lake house," one person joked, while another said: "Same age gap as me and my grandparents btw."

"The way [he's] holding her hand tells me everything I need to know about this relationship," a third added.

Some users accused the 26-year-old of being with her husband for money. "I also hate working," someone quipped.

"YOU GO GIRL! prayer$ are $uper important in a relationship as well as choice$," another added.

Relationship expert weighs in

Relationship coach Beck Thompson said she doesn’t see an issue with the couple’s boundaries, though she believes the wording may be contributing to the backlash.

"Praying together, not keeping score, showing up with kindness even when you’re in conflict - these are things I encourage in my own clients," the head coach at the Relationship Circle said, per The New York Post.

"The issue isn’t the rules themselves, it’s the language around them. The moment you call something a 'non-negotiable rule' in a relationship, it shifts the tone from connection to compliance. Healthy couples tend to arrive at these things naturally, not announce them like a contract."

She also admitted that one rule stood out more than the others.

"On the surface, choosing not to drink alone sounds like a boundaries conversation. But when you’re pre-emptively defending it to the internet before anyone’s even asked, that’s worth paying attention to," Thompson said. "Defensiveness is usually a signal that, on some level, you already know something looks off."

However, video footage of Lively has done the rounds online, as one social media user took it upon themselves to do a parody lip read of her interactions at the event.

Lively's viral "lip reading"

A clip of Lively speaking to fluffers and apparently saying things under her breath has garnered millions of views on social media.

Someone has dubbed over the actress's words, with the user saying: "It's not that difficult, you've just lost your job babe," as she was speaking to fluffers.

The user even added in a fart sound effect when she bent over, and even more as she was trying to sort her dress out - an addition which viewers loved.

Another exchange with a fluffer was skewed for Lively to say: "Move it you pathetic dork! They work so hard, I have to be nice."

The humorous video even had Lively saying that she was getting "trauma" from the way the fluffers were carrying her dress.

Professional lip reader analyses Lively's Met Gala appearance

It's fair to say that the first video didn't do much for Lively's PR, but luckily, lip reader Jackie G has put in a more genuine effort to read her lips.

The expert, who is also deaf, has over 1.9 million followers on Instagram and is known for reading celebrities' lips at events such as the Met Gala.

She selected some different clips, but noted that Lively had said to the fluffers as they were trying to help: "You guys can just leave it that way if you want, it'll trail behind me. Yeah, thank you! Sorry guys."

Lively could also be seen asking someone if they could "please" hold her purse, while also asking for help with fluffing her dress, apologizing as well.

What did Blake Lively say during Met Gala interview?

While on the carpet, Lively also carried out an interview, weeks after her sexual harassment allegations against Baldoni had been dismissed.

The trial, which was set to go ahead later this month, would only have covered three counts: retaliation, aiding and abetting retaliation, and breach of an agreement.

She didn't allow that to ruin her mood, though, as she admitted in a red carpet interview that she was "shy," and wished her four children could be with her at the event.

"I'm shy, I just like to have my kids with me," she revealed.

Unfortunately, the Met Gala has a rule stating that those under the age of 18 are not allowed to attend, though some exceptions have been made in recent times.

Gracen, 26, and her husband Kevin Geagan, 60, took to TikTok to reveal their relationship nonnegotiables.

She revealed that they make sure to pray together "every single night", and that they never drink alcohol without one another.

They added that the don't "keep score" over who did what within the relationship, as they made a commitment to "serve" one another within their vows.

Their video blew up, with many commenters believing the rules of their marriage were "strict", which Gracen says couldn't be further from the truth.

She told People: "Interestingly, we had never heard that perspective until this particular video.

"We've never thought of these as 'rules,' because that can carry a more negative or rigid connotation, and that's not how it feels in our relationship at all.

"To us, they're better described as boundaries — things that help keep us aligned and supportive of what's best for our relationship."

After facing criticism over Cassie’s OnlyFans storyline, Euphoria continued to push boundaries in its latest episode, featuring more revealing scenes involving Sydney Sweeney’s character.

During the May 10 episode of the HBO drama, Cassie expanded her online following with help from Maddie, played by Alexa Demie, by creating increasingly provocative content for subscribers.

Some of the material was portrayed as less explicit, including Cassie recording seductive voice messages and appearing on podcasts to discuss support for men’s rights.

But other scenes showed her producing more adult-oriented content, including filming sexual videos, mailing used underwear to fans, and appearing topless once again. Some scenes even showed her masturbating on camera.

The storyline also focused on Cassie’s relationship with Nate, played by Jacob Elordi, who pressures her to continue making money online so he can deal with mounting debts.

The episode quickly sparked strong reactions online, with many viewers describing it as “full-on insane.”

Although some real-life content creators criticized the way the series portrays online adult work, Sweeney has previously spoken about feeling empowered by playing Cassie and becoming more confident through the role.

Season three’s direction has divided audiences, particularly among OnlyFans creators who felt the depiction leaned too heavily into stereotypes of those actually working in the industry.

Series creator comes to the defence of show

However, series creator Sam Levinson defended the controversial scenes during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

“[Cassie] has got her dog house and her little dog ears and the nose, and that has its own humor,” Levinson explained.

He added: “But what makes the scene is the fact that her housekeeper is the one filming it.”

Levinson said the intention was to create a layer of absurdity around the fantasy being shown onscreen.

“What we wanted to always find is the other layer of absurdity that we’re able to tie into it so that we’re not too inside of her fantasy or illusion,” he said. “The gag is to jump out, to break the wall.”

Director of photography Marcell Rév also discussed the visual approach behind the scenes, explaining that the production team intentionally avoided making the setting appear too polished.

“An obvious choice would’ve been something modern and very plain and fancy, but we ended up choosing this mid-century home, which is a little tacky, but also stuck in the ‘70s,” Rév said.

He admitted adapting the visual style of OnlyFans content into the show’s cinematic aesthetic proved difficult, adding: “OnlyFans has its own aesthetic and how you elevate that aesthetic to the show’s aesthetic is a challenge. I’m not going to lie.”

Despite the backlash, Levinson said the uncomfortable atmosphere was intentional.

“Some of these scenes we only lit with these ring lights that she would use,” he explained. “When you’re inside, it’s a beautiful, glowing front light, but then you jump out of it and it’s just a pool of light and everything surrounding it is dark. It’s just gnarly and jarring.”

He added: “We wanted to capture what she’s trying to show the audience and be inside of it. But then also pull back wider and see how depressing it is.”

Around a decade ago, Catherine De Noire started working in the sex industry, working her way up to becoming the manager of a brothel today, at the age of 32.

Now, as the company's highest-ranking employee, she also shares content about her work on social media.

De Noire may not be a sex worker herself, but she's somewhat of an expert when it comes to knowing everything that's going on in her legal brothel, 24/7.

She explained that her main goal is to ensure that her workers are comfortable and safe, while remaining attentive with payments, clients, CRM systems and documentation.

Having seemingly experienced everything in the industry and allegedly welcoming anywhere between 500 and 1,000 clients into the brothel each day, De Noire has all the wisdom in the world to share when it comes to sex work.

The 'eight-second rule'

De Noire was a guest on the Tea At Four YouTube channel, lifting the curtain on the realities of running an "ethical brothel".

Speaking in Wednesday's (May 6) episode, she said one of the most important safety measures at the brothel is what's known as the eight-second rule.

"Every room has a panic button, and that means that when the girl doesn't feel good or something is happening in the room, she can press it and the security will come," she explained.

"Security needs to be there within 8 seconds, because we were once told that when you start to suffocate somebody, it takes 8 seconds for him or her to go unconscious."

De Noire went on: "So, this is the reason why our security is trained. We train them every three months, again and again, so they know the fastest route to the room.

"They know, like how to open it, they know which pair of them will go there, so we train them regularly, but because we are that big, this almost never happens," she admitted.

The manager said that if you "want to harm somebody," it probably isn't the smartest idea to do it in a club full of cameras, security and staff.

She revealed when it is actually used, saying: "It's used sometimes when the client falls asleep or like he doesn't want to leave.

"So the service is over and he's sitting there naked and he's like, 'I just want to continue, I don't want to leave', and then she's like, 'but you need to pay', and he's like, 'I don't want to pay'.

"These are the most typical reasons [that the button is used]," De Noire revealed.

De Noire revealed the acts that sex workers refuse

The brothel manager has previously admitted that individuals can earn up to $50,000 per month, but there are still some things which workers turn down.

Speaking exclusively to VT, De Noire said of the riskier acts: "We let each of the workers decide.

"We have women who've worked with us for many years, and they don't do the full service."

According to the manager, every worker gets to decide what their boundaries are.

She then listed some examples: "One of them specializes in squirting. So all she does is squirt on people.

"Sometimes the girls do tantric massages, sometimes they only do a strip show, so that is up to them.

"Sometimes the client can come, and [maybe] he's too big, or she doesn't feel good about doing XYZ with him."

But this is okay, as De Noire says she doesn't force any of her workers to do anything that they aren't up for - the word "no" is welcomed.

"I always tell the girls, 'Look, you need to decide, you're an independent contractor, and if the client looks weird, or if he wants to do something with you that you don't want to do with him, just tell him no.'"

De Noire candidly explained: "Someone can do anal sex with one person, but then she can refuse to do anal sex for a second person, for any reason."

The highest amount earned in one night

While $50,000 per month can sound like an eye-watering amount, De Noire revealed that someone had previously made five figures in just one night.

"I think it was around €30,000 ($35,110), I mean, she earned this amount of money, and the next day she came to work," she shared.

"I told her, 'You should at least take a day off!' but she said, 'I still want to be here. It's going to be my second lucky day.'"

De Noire shared more details about the fruitful encounter: "It was like a normal-looking guy, and I think she spent the whole night with him.

"The next morning, they went for breakfast as well, so it was 14 hours or something like that."

Hayden Panettiere comes out as bisexual

The Nashville actress made the admission this week that she is bisexual, in her first-ever public discussion about her sexuality.

She admitted in an interview with Us Weekly on Wednesday (May 6) that she started dating women “at a very, very young age.”

Opening up about her sexuality, Panettiere said: “That’s something about me I was never able to share with the world, because it was just never the right time,

“It was either I was too young, and I was being forced to be perfect at all times. I was not encouraged to just be myself.”

The 36-year-old explained: “Then came the period where it felt like people coming out, especially women, saying that they were bisexual or liked girls, was a fad. I was afraid that if I was honest, it was going to be like me jumping on the bandwagon.

“It’s sad I had to wait until I was 36 years old to share that part of me, but better late than never, right?” Panettiere said.

She then stated: “I’m comfortable to confidently say that yes, I am bisexual. I said it! This is the first time I got to say it out loud.”

Panettiere told the magazine she has never been in love with a woman. As a celebrity, she found it “scary” to date women in the past.

“It was scary, though, because there were paparazzi always waiting for me outside, to follow me everywhere. I had very little privacy,” she said of dating women in the past.

The rigid, youth-giving protein, chewed up and spat out by ‘Big Pharma’ into consumable form, is glossed with the promise of anti-ageing and the eternal physical exuberance of youthfulness.

Collagen, described by the National Institutes of Health as the body’s most abundant protein, acts like a structural support system that helps keep skin firm and elastic while also supporting joints, bones, tendons, and cartilage.

The rise in popularity of collagen

Although our bodies naturally produce collagen, making up around 30 percent of total body protein, interest in supplements and treatments has exploded in recent years, particularly in the beauty industry.

Much of that demand has been driven by the rise of more 'natural' cosmetic trends.

Experts at cosmetic insurance company Hamilton Fraser previously said people are moving away from dramatic procedures and toward more subtle treatments.

Nurse practitioner Julie Scott explained: “Patients now prefer subtle enhancements and natural rejuvenation.”

Cosmetic lead Ella Vranjkovic added: “There’s an increasing demand for subtle and ‘no-makeup’ looks.”

She said treatments designed to stimulate collagen production are becoming increasingly popular because they can deliver 'natural-looking, long-term results.'

Searches for collagen-boosting treatments have surged, with polynucleotide injections reportedly increasing by 188 percent worldwide, according to AL Aesthetics.

What has the research revealed?

But despite the hype, new research suggests collagen may not be the miracle age-reversing fix many people believe it is.

Researchers at Anglia Ruskin University reviewed studies into daily collagen supplements and found they can have 'some legitimate' benefits, particularly for skin hydration and elasticity.

However, they warned collagen is 'not a cure-all.'

Professor Lee Smith, one of the lead researchers, explained: “Collagen is not a cure-all, but it does have credible benefits when used consistently over time, particularly for skin and osteoarthritis.”

He added: “Our findings show clear benefits in key areas of healthy ageing, while also dispelling some of the myths surrounding its use.”

The research found collagen may help improve ageing or sun-damaged skin over time, especially in menopausal women, but there was little evidence to support claims that it completely prevents wrinkles.

Meanwhile, YouTuber Sara Anderson decided to document her own experience after taking collagen for an entire year.

In a video update, she said the supplement appeared to improve her skin, nails and joints, though she was less convinced about its impact on her hair because she had been treating that separately.

Sharing before-and-after photos, Sara admitted she still gets breakouts but noticed changes fairly quickly.

She said she managed to reduce the 'roughness' and 'bumps' on her face within about a month of using the collagen.

She also noticed improvements in her complexion, explaining: “Before, sometimes if I didn't have any sort of foundation on, my face was just kind of blotchy and pinky.”

She added: “I think that since I started taking this, that has improved.”

Sara said the biggest improvements were in her skin tone and nails, while pointing out that collagen powder is 'basically a protein powder.'

Even though she admitted the lighting in her progress photos wasn’t always consistent because she 'didn’t expect' to keep documenting the process, she felt there were enough noticeable changes to continue taking it.

The findings from the university study appear to support some of her experience.

While researchers stressed collagen is not a miracle anti-wrinkle treatment, they said it may still help people maintain healthier-looking skin as they age.

Professor Smith explained: “If we define anti-ageing as a product or technique designed to prevent the appearance of getting older, then I believe our findings do support this claim for some parameters.”

He added: “For example, an improvement in skin tone and moisture is associated with a more youthful-looking appearance.”

Everyone has heard of a honey trap and the potential perils of falling victim to such a hoax. Nicole Cano, who was arrested on Monday, is alleged to have instigated the robbery, along with two accomplices, last month.

What is alleged to have happened?

According to Local10, the man arrived at Cano’s $15,000-per-month apartment situated at Paraiso Bayviews Condos at 8PM for drinks with Cano.

Upon arrival, the man, who has remained unidentified, was approached by Cano’s two co-conspirators, who demanded that he hand over his valuables, including money.

Ignoring his protests and claims that he didn’t have any change to give them, he was then forcefully apprehended by the women, who refused to allow him to leave the apartment.

It is claimed that the women demanded that the man was “going to pay” before being allowed to leave, and then proceeded to snatch a gold chain necklace from him.

“They tried to get his gold chain,” Miami Police Officer Michael Vega told NBC 6. He said: “They were not successful. But, they did take a crucifix that he had on his chain that was valued at over $300.”

While the victim managed to escape the apartment complex overlooking Biscayne Bay unscathed, the women managed to claim a gold crucifix that he believed was worth roughly $300.

The subsequent police investigation

After reporting the matter to the police, he identified Cano in a police photo lineup, with the 30-year-old taken and then arrested. She has since been taken into custody at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center, after being charged with strong-armed robbery and false imprisonment.

The police have stated that the suspected Instagram fraudster made an admission that she had initiated the meeting with the man, but denies robbing him.

Cano is now facing a potential sentence of 15-years in prison if she is found guilty of strong-armed robbery, while she could face five years and a $10,000 fine should she be convicted of false imprisonment, although her trial is yet to take place.

Nancy, who is the 84-year-old mother of Today presenter Savannah, has now been missing for three months after reportedly disappearing from her Tucson, Arizona home on February 1.

Investigators are still searching for solid leads in the case, which gained national attention after FBI Director Kash Patel released disturbing Nest camera footage in February.

The video appeared to show a masked person approaching Nancy’s front door with a gun visible in his waistband before trying to disable the camera.

The reason for Savannah Guthrie's abrupt exit

Savannah, who was presenting the show on Wednesday, unexpectedly left just 90 minutes after the broadcast began, with viewers speculating over why she may have left the show prematurely.

Co-host Craig Melvin briefly addressed her absence, telling viewers: “Savannah had to leave a little early. She'll be right back tomorrow, though.”

Savannah previously stepped away from the programme for two months while helping authorities search for her mother.

Reports have since suggested NBC and the Today show may have a private code in place to remove her from the air immediately if there are any major developments in the case.

According to a source, who told Page Six, the Today host had to make an early exit “for some sort of appointment, and her exit had nothing to do with her mom.”

This came after the CW special NewsNation Presents: The Nancy Guthrie Mystery aired, whereby a collection of clinical and forensic psychologists, criminologists, behavior analysts, and attorneys discussed their theses around the elderly lady’s disappearance.

NBC producers to tell Savannah if there is an update

Detectives have been left puzzled by Savannah's mother's inexplicable disappearance, with the TV host even offering a $1 million reward for her safe return.

It was recently reported, per the Daily Mail, that if a major update around her mother breaks while she is on air, a producer would tell her she is "needed off set" - a phrase she has come to understand as an ‘update’.

"We would pull her immediately, mid-segment if we had to," the source told the outlet. "She knows if one of the producers tells her she’s ‘needed off set’ that there’s a development.

"She would understand that there was news about her mom and we’d take her into an office and tell her, at the same time that another anchor would report it as a breaking story."

They emphasized the show would "never in a million years" ask Guthrie to report on Nancy’s disappearance unless she chose to.

"Savannah understands that she has a public who is very invested in Nancy’s story, and understands that we wouldn’t necessarily wait for her to find out before reporting it," the source added.

Several crew members were detained, as immigrant rights groups claimed that at least 10 crew members were apprehended on April 23, after the ship had returned from a five-day trip.

Families hoping to have a holiday to remember were shocked by the raid, as U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents also made their way onto four other cruise ships.

It turned out that these arrests made between April 23 and 25 were part of ongoing Child Sexual Exploitation Material enforcement operations.

Authorities say that those on board the Disney Magic cruise were reportedly surrounded by alleged child predators, per the New York Post.

Statement from authorities on arrests

The publication reported that a CBP spokesperson told The California Post: “After boarding the vessels and interviewing 26 suspected crew members from the Philippines, one suspected crew member from Portugal, and one from Indonesia, officers confirmed all subjects were involved in either the receipt, possession, transportation, distribution, or viewing of CSEM (child sexual exploitation material) or child pornography.”

The statement further explained: “CBP cancelled their visas and these criminals are being removed from our country.”

“We have a zero-tolerance policy for this type of behavior and fully cooperated with law enforcement. These individuals are no longer with the company,” a Disney spokesperson said about the situation.

It is currently unknown which other ships the other crew members may have worked on outside the Disney cruise, but passengers were quick to document the arrests.

A video from passenger Dharmi Mehta went viral following the incident, as many believed that crew was being arrested due to their illegal immigration status.

This proved not to be the case, as she shared that one of those detained was her server.

Speaking during a news conference on Tuesday (May 5), she explained: “We got to know him fairly well, and he had actually been serving us probably 45 minutes to an hour before he was in restraints.”

Crew were still in their Disney uniforms, and without their belongings, as they were being detained.

Immigration rights groups believed that four “seafarers” were arrested on the Holland America MV Zandaam cruise ship too, as they were unsettled over the perceived nature of the arrests.

Only immigration officers were involved

The port would confirm in a statement that local police were not involved.

A port spokesperson told NBC San Diego: “The Port of San Diego Harbor Police Department did not have any involvement in the reported enforcement actions on April 23 or April 25 at the B Street Cruise Terminal.

“We did not receive any calls for service related to these incidents. In accordance with California law, including SB 54, Harbor Police does not participate in immigration enforcement activities.”

“The B Street Cruise Terminal is a federal port of entry, where law enforcement authority for immigration and customs matters rests with U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP),” the statement went on.

“As such, any enforcement actions taken onboard vessels or within the federal inspection area fall under CBP’s jurisdiction.”

TikToker Says She Was Left Stunned During Hotel Hookup

Dawn, who posts under the handle @ur_fav_dawn, shared the story in a TikTok video that has now been viewed more than 77,000 times.

In the video, she explained that she "used to be a sugar mommy" and had been speaking to a "really sweet" man who regularly bought her gifts before asking her out for dinner and drinks.

She agreed to the date because he "was so nice" to her, and the pair later headed back to a hotel together.

Dawn explained they were "doing their own thing" before she realized something unexpected.

"So I'm like, okay, maybe he's just, like, not all the way there," she remarked. "Yes, I kind of keep doing my thing. I'm not a quitter...I will not judge. This is just out of my wheelhouse. I've never experienced anything like this."

She said the pair continued trying to have sex, even after things did not change.

"I'm like, we're going to keep going, right? So, we like keep going, and it gets to a point where he's like, can you get on top? I'm a trooper," she said. "So I get on top, right? And it literally, guys, still hasn't changed."

Dawn later admitted: "I can't work with that," and revealed that the man’s penis did not "go in".

Despite the awkward experience, Dawn said the man treated her extremely well afterward, giving her "a lot of money" and booking her "a really, really nice hotel room."

What Is A Micropenis?

According to World Population Review, the average erect penis size in the United States is around 5.6 inches. A micropenis is medically defined as measuring 3.67 inches or less when erect.

Per Medical News Today, experts say hormonal issues are the most common cause of the condition, particularly problems involving testosterone during pregnancy or infancy.

Doctors say a lack of testosterone production, or the body not responding properly to testosterone, can affect normal genital development.

In some cases, what appears to be a micropenis may actually be caused by other conditions, including swelling in the scrotum or a "buried penis," where surrounding fat tissue makes the penis less visible.

The US President has never been known to stay quiet or keep much to himself, and he has recently claimed that he struggled with a simple technological feature on his phone.

He claimed that it would get him in trouble with his wife of 21 years, First Lady Melania Trump, as his phone would allegedly change her name.

While some in the dating pool may have made the grave mistake of calling someone they're seeing the wrong name, it's rare for someone important, say the President of the US, to make this error multiple times in the eyes of the public.

But Trump, 79, opened up on his struggles with the tech of today, when speaking to the press at the White House on Wednesday (May 6).

Trump's autocorrect issues

The President said that it was all to do with autocorrect, explaining: "I love the name Melody because for a long time, they have spell correct and word correct, and these crazy machines that we use to put out truths... every time I wrote Melania it would correct to Melody.

"So I do things, and I work very fast, very fast."

He added: "And I talk about it, and I say, Melania is fantastic, and happy Mother's Day, Melania, our great First Lady Melania. But it would spell correct and word correct to Melody.

"And sometimes I wouldn't proofread it, and I would get just absolutely decimated. These people (the media) would decimate me," he admitted.

After a barrage of laughs, Trump claimed: "They said, 'he didn't know the name of his wife. He keeps calling her - and I said, what the hell is wrong with this machine? I didn't know about that little feature, but I got that corrected eventually.

"You know who corrected? The military. I said, come here. You got to correct this. You're killing me. I took more abuse. She's been called Melody a lot," he recalled.

He then concluded: "I had to explain it to you this way. I stood up here to explain it to you. I apologize."

Users think Trump may be covering up

While it may seem like a funny, light-hearted story at first, social media users quickly realised that there was a flaw in the President's explanation.

One pointed out: "He does know autocorrect learns from your typing history right? So…Who tf is Melody???"

Another wrote: "And so my question is, Who’s Melody?"

But some others think that Trump is "relatable" and right in his claims, as a third replied: "Apple and Google use different tech to handle learning.

"However, the critical point you missed is the fact that missing the invalid autocorrect reinforces its use for future swipes."

Someone else agreed, writing: "Autocorrect is the worst. 100% does NOT learn from me."

Tommy Dorfman, best known for playing Ryan Shaver in Netflix's hit series 13 Reasons Why, took to Instagram on Friday (May 1) to expose the unnamed man, sharing close-up photos of his phone screen as he texted away in the seat right next to her in first class.

What the man texted

According to the screenshots shared by Dorfman on Instagram, the man fired off the same opening message to multiple people in his contacts.

"I am in the first aisle of First Class. Guess what is sitting next to me?" he wrote.

"A f***ing transsexual in the midst of going from a man to a woman. Just my luck. I was hoping for a hot babe!!"

To one contact, named Samantha, he added: "Two and a half hours of sitting next to this freak!!"

A short video clip Dorfman also posted appeared to show the man texting another contact about a flight attendant, writing: "The stewardess in the first-class cabin is hot as hell!!!! Offsets the freak!!"

Over the photo of the man, Dorfman added the caption: 'someone get your grandpa.'

Samantha's response

The standout moment, according to commenters, came from one of the recipients of the man's texts.

A woman named Samantha replied: "Just remember many people you love are lgbtq+ and this country sucks for them right now. Be Kind!"

She also wished him safe travels.

Dorfman, clearly impressed, shared a screenshot of the response with the overlay: 'wait samantha ily girl.'

What Dorfman said

In a lengthy caption attached to the carousel of images, Dorfman, 33, addressed the situation directly.

"Objectively, I know I'm not 'passing' and I'm 'bricky' and 'clocky' but passing hasn't been the point for me nor should it be for any trans person," she wrote.

"We are all allowed to evolve in any way that feels true and that evolution can expand and contract.

"It's always been about alignment and autonomy for my own comfort, not the comfort of others or the expectations of society."

She went on to call out the man for the 'audacity' of sending such 'blatant' messages, adding that she had spared her followers from the 'deeply misogynistic and revolting comments on our flight attendants' he had also been making.

"This does come at the cost of safety and comfort in the world, especially in America, and that's not without consequence internally and externally," she continued.

She closed the post by giving Samantha the credit she felt she deserved.

"And why post, you may wonder? Because I can and this man is an alt-right vampire AND because Samantha deserves her flowers."

A familiar story for Dorfman

It isn't the first time Dorfman has spoken out about transphobia she has experienced while travelling.

In December 2023, she publicly confronted Delta Air Lines staff at LaGuardia Airport after she said she had been intentionally misgendered by gate agents.

In a now-deleted TikTok video, the actress challenged a worker who used the wrong pronoun for her multiple times, calling it a 'human rights violation.'

That incident drew a mixed response from the public at the time.

The actress, who came out as a transgender woman in a 2021 cover interview with TIME, has been candid about both the visibility and the cost of being publicly trans.

"It's funny to think about coming out, because I haven't gone anywhere," she told the magazine.

"I view today as a reintroduction to me as a woman, having made a transition medically."

The reaction

Dorfman's post quickly racked up celebrity support, with friends and fans rallying in the comments.

Actress Amanda Seyfried wrote: "Scared and dumb, all of 'em 'cept Sam."

The King of Staten Island actress Pauline Chalamet added: "Whaaaat. The f**k. I love you, Tommy."

Dorfman has not named the man, and as of Saturday morning, neither the airline involved nor any representative for him had publicly commented on the post.

For Dorfman, the decision to share what happened seems to have been less about him personally and more about the wider point.

As she put it in her caption: "Because I can."

The Charlie's Angels star, 53, and the Good Charlotte musician, 47, welcomed a baby boy named Nautas Madden, the couple confirmed in an Instagram post on Monday (May 4).

The name continues a clear pattern for the couple, who already share six-year-old daughter Raddix and two-year-old son Cardinal.

The big announcement

Benji Madden shared the news on Instagram, posting a nautical-themed illustration featuring a pirate ship in full sail with the baby's name, alongside drawings of a cardinal bird and a potted plant, believed to represent each of the couple's three children.

"Cameron and I are Happy, Excited, and feeling so BLESSED to announce the birth of our third Child, Nautas Madden," he captioned the post.

"Welcome to the world Son!!"

He continued: "We love life with our family - our kids are healthy & happy, and we are grateful!!

"Having a blast, sending all our best wishes — the Madden Family."

Diaz responded to the post in the comments with a string of red heart emojis.

What the name means

According to the announcement graphic shared by Benji, the name 'Nautas' is drawn from the Latin word 'nauta,' meaning sailor.

The full definition included in the post described the name as: "Sailor, navigator, voyager, one who embarks on a journey and fears not the unknown."

The pirate ship imagery on the announcement leaned heavily into that nautical theme.

It's a notable shift from the couple's previous name choices, which fans (and bookies) might have expected to land somewhere closer to nature or symbolism than to maritime adventure.

A pattern of unusual names

Diaz and Madden have long been known for picking names that fall well outside the celebrity baby mainstream.

Their first child, Raddix Wildflower, was born in December 2019.

The name immediately raised eyebrows online, with fans split between calling it 'cool' and 'too out there.'

Their second, Cardinal, was born in March 2024, and his name also caused a divide online, with social media users similarly torn between admirers and critics.

Despite their high-profile careers, Diaz and Madden have always made a point of keeping their children out of the public eye, never sharing photos of them on social media.

When announcing Raddix's birth in 2020, the couple wrote: "While we are overjoyed to share this news, we also feel a strong instinct to protect our little one's privacy."

That stance hasn't shifted with the third arrival.

The pirate ship on the announcement was the closest thing to a baby photo. They also did not disclose the date of Nautas's birth.

The image was first shared by Trump on his Truth Social account on Friday (May 2) night, as part of a 41-minute posting blitz that saw him fire off 11 separate posts between 11.03pm and 11.45pm.

Among the posts in that spree were an AI-generated image of Trump shirtless in the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool with members of his Cabinet, an image of Trump's face superimposed onto Mount Rushmore, an attack on Democratic House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, and a gold-toned portrait of the president's profile.

The UNO card image was the headline-grabber. In it, an AI-rendered Trump can be seen smiling while holding six 'Wild' cards from the popular card game.

The 'I HAVE ALL THE CARDS' line is one Trump has used repeatedly in recent months when talking about negotiations with Iran, claiming his administration holds all the leverage.

"Also, we have all the cards, they have none!" he wrote in one Truth Social post last month.

Late on Sunday (May 3), the official @WhiteHouse account on X amplified the meme, reposting it for its 4.5 million followers.

That's where it all started to go sideways.

The problem

If you've ever played UNO, you'll know the goal of the game.

You don't try to collect cards. You try to get rid of them.

Each player is dealt seven cards, and the winner is the first person to reach zero cards.

Wild cards, including the +4 cards prominently featured in Trump's hand, are typically used to disrupt opponents and force them to pick up extra cards.

In short, the player holding the most cards at the end is usually the loser.

Cue the entire internet noticing the same thing.

The online mockery

Critics piled in within minutes, with the post quickly becoming one of the most-roasted things to come out of the White House's social media account this year.

Democratic Congressman Ted Lieu got the ball rolling with one of the most-shared replies of the night.

"Dear @WhiteHouse: If trump has all the cards, then why are gas prices at record levels? Oh wait, in Uno you win by not having any cards. Your social media person really should get fired."

He wasn't alone.

"This is perfect actually because in UNO, the person holding the most cards is LOSING," wrote one X user.

"Trump has all the cards in a game where the objective is to be the first to get rid of all your cards," posted another, in a reply that quickly racked up tens of thousands of likes.

Even right-wing accounts joined in. The National Conservative account replied: "In UNO, having the most cards means you are losing. Lol."

Conservative attorney Robert Barnes also weighed in, writing: "Very true. The way to lose in Uno is to have all the cards."

Perhaps the harshest dig came from one user who simply replied with two words about Trump's hand size in the image, repeating a long-running jibe about the president.

The Iranian government's account on X also got involved.

The official Iran in Hyderabad account reposted the meme alongside an AI-generated image of an Iranian regime spokesperson holding a +4 card and a Skip card with the caption: "Yes, we have less cards."

A familiar pattern

This is far from the first time Trump's love of AI-generated imagery has backfired in unexpected ways.

In recent weeks, the president has shared an AI-generated image of himself depicted as Jesus Christ (later deleted following backlash from his MAGA base), an image of a Trump-branded hotel built on the Moon, and an AI video featuring 'Trump 2028' hats that raised constitutional questions given the 22nd Amendment bars a third presidential term.

His use of AI imagery, increasingly his preferred medium for political messaging, has become a defining feature of his second term.

Whether the messaging is always landing as intended, however, is another matter entirely.

For now, the UNO post remains live on both the White House's X account and the president's Truth Social. Neither he nor the official account has acknowledged the obvious flaw in the strategy.

A student at Northern Kentucky University (NKU) School of the Arts, Murry 'Alexis' Foust, 22, was last seen on Monday, April 27, according to a statement posted by the Covington Police Department (CPD) on social media.

In surveillance photographs shared by the CPD on Instagram, Foust is seen wearing a dark-colored jacket and T-shirt, loose-fitting patterned pants, black sneakers, and a yellow backpack.

The post’s caption said: “We are still actively searching for the missing person, Murry (Alexis) Foust.

"These photos are from the most recent surveillance footage we have found. They were last seen in the area of the Latonia neighborhood of Covington."

What does the missing student look like?

The student is described as five feet and seven inches tall, with brown eyes and dyed-black, shoulder-length hair.

According to a Facebook post shared by friend Charlie King, they have some tattoos, including “geometric striped pattern on their elbow, a ram skull on their upper arm and a depiction of a crucified Jesus Christ on one of their shins.”

As "Murry has never done this, and was in good spirits before they went missing", their friends are growing increasingly concerned that the 22-year-old is in danger.

In a desperate plea for help, King wrote, “There is not a trace of Murry anywhere, and their friends, family, and one of my best friends, who is their partner, are all very worried.

“At this point, it is crucial we begin spreading the word and searching for them.”

Foust's belongings were found police but they remain missing

The statement also disclosed that “Murry was last seen going to NKU (Northern Kentucky University) from OTR (Over the Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio) Monday evening at 5:30 PM (04-27-2026). Murry never made it to class and has been missing ever since.”

King’s statement also claimed that their missing friend's “car was found a block from their apartment in Latonia (Kenton County, Kentucky) off of Decoursey Ave. Their bag was located at NKU.”

Foust’s cellphone was also allegedly found at their apartment by police, although officials have not publicly confirmed these details.

Corey Best, chief of communications at NKU, said in a statement to Fox 19, “Northern Kentucky University is aware that one of our students, Alexis 'Murry' Foust, has been reported missing.

“Our thoughts are with their family, friends and all those impacted.

“The Covington Police Department is leading the investigation, and we are fully cooperating and supporting their efforts. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Covington Police.”

The CPD is asking anyone with information about Foust’s whereabouts to call 911 or 859-292-2234.

The former Republican congresswoman, who resigned from Congress in November 2025 after a public falling-out with Trump over the Epstein files, made the comments during a speech delivered at the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity's spring conference on April 25 in Lake Jackson, Texas.

A clip of the speech has since gone viral on social media, fuelling fresh scrutiny of the acrimonious Trump/Greene feud.

What Marjorie Taylor Greene says happened

Speaking to the in-person audience, Greene said she had reached out to several senior figures in Trump's orbit after the death threats against her family escalated to her 22-year-old son Derek.

"I sent them to all these people," Greene said, referring to the threats.

She continued: "I got no response from Susie Wiles - none - and she's a mother and grandmother and a woman.

"Got no response from James Blair because he only cares about making money on campaigns.

"I did hear from Kash Patel. He said 'on it,' but I haven't heard from him since.

"I don't know what he's on. JD Vance was very nice to me, compassionate and kind, and reassured that he would do everything we could to find out what's going on."

Then, she said, came the response from Trump himself.

"Then I heard back from Donald Trump, and I've saved these text messages. I'd probably get put in jail if I released them publicly, but I saved them," she said.

"Where Donald Trump proceeded to tell me that it was my fault and that I deserve it.

"If my son gets killed, I deserve it because I was a traitor to him."

Greene then turned the comments back on the man she once defended at every turn.

"That is our president of the United States. That's a man [who] says MAGA whatever he wants it to be."

The 'jail' question

Greene did not specify what law or which authority she believed could be used to jail her if she made the text message public.

The comment has been widely interpreted by viewers as a reference to potential legal pressure from the Trump-aligned Department of Justice.

The current Attorney General is Pam Bondi, a long-time Trump ally.

The White House has not commented on Greene's claim that she could be imprisoned for releasing the message.

It is also not the first time Greene has detailed the text exchange publicly.

She made similar claims in an interview with Piers Morgan in mid-April, although she didn't say that she could go to jail if she revealed the nature of the texts.

In her earlier Morgan interview, Greene paraphrased Trump as saying that 'if my son were to get killed, it would be my fault' and said the exchange was 'the nail in the coffin' in her relationship with the president.

The Trump White House has previously dismissed Greene's claims, with a spokesperson telling The Hill that she was 'a quitter who is pathetically trying to stay relevant by going on liberal media shows to bash President Trump.'

Derek Taylor Greene's death threats

In a 60 Minutes interview in early December 2025, Greene first revealed that one of the death threats against her son arrived via an anonymous email with the subject line 'Marjorie Traitor Greene' - the very nickname Trump had publicly given her the day before.

"Derek will have his life snuffed out soon," the email reportedly read.

"Better watch his back."

Greene has previously claimed she received close to 700 death threats during the height of her dispute with Trump over the release of the Epstein files.

She has consistently said the threats came in two waves - first from the political left during her years as a MAGA loyalist, and then from the political right after Trump branded her a 'traitor' for backing the Epstein files release.

How did her relationship with Trump deteriorate so badly?

Greene was, for years, one of Trump's most prominent and combative supporters in Congress.

The relationship soured in late 2025 when she became one of just four Republicans to sign a discharge petition forcing a vote on the release of the Epstein files.

According to Greene, in the final phone call she had with Trump before resigning, the president urged her to remove her name from the petition and warned her that 'his friends would get hurt' if the documents were released.

The relationship collapsed publicly within days.

Trump branded her a 'traitor' and a 'disgrace' on Truth Social, withdrew his political support, and signalled he would back a primary challenger against her. Greene resigned from Congress in November 2025.

In the months since, she has publicly called for Trump to be assessed under the 25th Amendment, describing his recent threats to wipe out the 'whole civilization' of Iran as 'evil' and showing 'real mental depravity,' and called his recent AI-generated image of himself depicted as Jesus Christ 'blasphemous.'

The wider context

The Greene-Trump feud is now playing out against a chaotic political backdrop for the 79-year-old president, who has been firing off late-night Truth Social rants in record numbers and is currently waging an ongoing war with Iran that has divided his MAGA base.

Trump has also been criticised in recent days for the way he responded to the news of his former personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani being hospitalised in critical condition, with the president using the announcement as an opportunity to attack Democrats.

For Greene's part, she does not appear to be backing down.

As she put it in her speech, the existence of the text messages, saved on her phone, leaves no doubt in her mind about who Trump is.

Whether she ever releases the text message itself is, by her own account, another question entirely.
