9 celebrities who kicked off after their pictures were dramatically photoshopped
We all know that a lot of tricks go into creating professional photoshoots. There's the makeup, the lighting, and of course, quite a bit of post-production too. Certainly, it's hard for us to imagine what these images originally looked like when almost everything that is shared in the media is photoshopped.
And clearly, the subjects aren't happy about it either. Here we present nine celebs who have lashed out against photoshopped images of themselves.
Celebrities who have hit back at being photoshopped
1. Iskra Lawrence
Iskra posted a throwback photo of herself, and she was clearly angry. In the post, she points out how her skin is smoother, her bust bigger and her waist and legs slimmer ,all thanks to props and photoshop.

She reiterated the images were "HEAVILY retouched" and asked her fans: "please NEVER EVER compare yourself to images you see, many aren't real."
2. Emily Ratajkowski
Emily was "extremely disappointed" when posting a comparison a photo of her in a beret and fur coat with a photoshopped version that ended up on the cover of a French magazine. The publication made her lips and breasts smaller.
"I hope the fashion industry will finally learn to stop trying to stifle the things that make us unique and instead begin to celebrate individuality," she wrote.
"Everyone is uniquely beautiful in their own ways," Emily continued. "We all have insecurities about the things that make us different from a typical ideal of beauty. I, like so many of us, try every day to work past those insecurities ... I hope the fashion industry will finally learn to stop trying to stifle the things that make us unique and instead begin to celebrate individuality."
3. Lorde
Lorde called out two photoshop incidents. In one photo, her acne was completely cleared, and in another, she was given a digital nose job.
4. Lili Reinhart
Lili has also spoken out about Photoshopping. The actress called out Cosmopolitan Philippines for retouching her and costar Camila Mendes' waists to look teeny tiny.
5. Kerry Washington
Washington is no fan of having her photos edited. She was "taken aback by the cover" of an issue of Adweek where she could hardly recognise herself due to the photoshop. "It felt strange to look at a picture of myself that is so different from what I look like when I look in the mirror. It's an unfortunate feeling," she wrote in an Instagram post.
6. Jennifer Lawrence
Jennifer said she was shocked to see a picture of herself for a Dior campaign for the first time. She told Access Hollywood, "Oh my god, I haven't seen this. That doesn't look like me at all. I love Photoshop more than anything in the world. Of course it's Photoshop, people don't look like that."
7. Bella Thorne
"I specifically asked for no re touching on this photo," the actress wrote, regarding her GQ spread.

"Cuz yeah if they show my acne scars or a wrinkle in my forehead or my teeth aren't perfectly white, people will look at the photo and say no she's not perfect and usually most people don't want the public trashing and I get it, But f*ck it I'm here to tell you that's right I'm not F*CKING PERFECT [sic]."
8. Zendaya
And Zendaya also had a similar run-in. The 24-year-old said she was surprised to see her hips and torso pinched in so much for a photoshoot. She proceeded to share the original snap, to point out just how much they had manipulated the image.
9. Priyanka Chopra
If you were also rather concerned when you saw Chopra's nonexistent armpits in her Maxim India cover, you weren't alone. The actress quickly hit back at being photoshopped.
