Anna Faris' parenting tip for Eva Longoria is equal parts gross and genius

Anna Faris' parenting tip for Eva Longoria is equal parts gross and genius

Is everyone in Hollywood pregnant right now? Because it certainly feels like it. Sure, we had the trio of Kardashian-Jenner sisters pop out their three daughters already, but we've still got a host of other A-listers on the brink of giving birth. There's Chrissy Teigen who's due soon, as well as Miranda Kerr and Cardi B. Daniel Craig and Rachel Weisz also recently announced they would be having a child, and about to give birth any minute now is Eva Longoria.

While she's still actually a couple of weeks away, the Desperate Housewives star certainly looks like she could pop any time soon. The 43-year-old is expecting her first child with husband José Bastón, and they've already revealed it's going to be a boy.

"I just can't wait to see what his personality's like, who he looks like, how much hair he's gonna have," she told E! News. "There's so much I look forward to, and I can't believe it's becoming more and more real every day."

Eva finished filming for upcoming rom-com Overboard a little while ago, which is due to come out this year. It co-stars Anna Faris, who told E that the two of them had formed a "really tight bond" while filming. Anna has a son of her own, 5-year-old Jack (who she had with Chris Pratt before they divorced), and when asked if she had given any advice to pregnant Eva, she laughed at the idea.

"I love it that you would assume that I would give good advice, in any capacity," she quipped. She went on to say that the only advice she's given Eva is: "Don't do that again!"

But it turns out that Anna actually did dish out some wisdom so that Eva could go into motherhood prepared and aware of everything that happens... especially the gross stuff.

Appearing on The Late Late Show alongside Will Ferrell, Eva told James Corden that pregnancy has been exhausting, but that Anna told her there was much more to come.

"I'm tired," she sighed when James asked her how she was doing. "I'm uncomfortable, everything's bigger."

James and Will touched her belly, exclaiming "oh my god!" before asking if it got annoying, and Eva responded that everyone she's encountered loves to give her advice. But while she waves away the explicitly detailed birthing advice from overly enthusiastic types, she said that her co-star Anna Faris had some tips for after her son was born.

Eva recalls that Anna told her: "If there's one thing I can tell you, it's that you're gonna get peed on."

Err, thanks for the heads up, Anna. Eva went on to say that Anna gave one piece of sage wisdom that was – yes pee related – but also pretty genius.

"When you potty train them, she said to put Cheerios in the toilet so they can aim."

Genius, right? Well, Will didn't quite know what to say, simply covering his mouth in shock and saying, "oh my god". Watch it all below, it's pretty funny.

All the best to Eva on her last few weeks of pregnancy, and let's hope José stocks up on Cheerios in the meantime.
