Celine Dion owns a warehouse to hold her 10,000 pairs of shoes
If you share Carrie Bradshaw's affinity for footwear, you'll be pleased to know that there's a new shoe maven in town: Celine Dion.
The legendary songstress's commitment to footwear is so intense, in fact, that she has an entire warehouse dedicated to them.
On a recent episode of Carpool Karaoke, James Corden asked Celine about her rumoured obsession with shoes, and whether she knows the real size of her collection. When she played coy, James refused to back down, and referenced her interview with WWD, where she admitted to owning 10,000 pair of shoes that she can't part with due to their sentimental value.
"I cannot give anything away, because every piece that I buy has brought me to where I am tonight. They’re part of every step that I take, and I have an attachment to it. You can call it crazy. I keep everything, but I just keep buying a bigger space," she told the publication.
She also revealed that prior to purchasing a massive shoe warehouse in Las Vegas, she installed a digital walk-in footwear closet in her Florida home. The shoes were organised by colour in true Cher Horowitz style.
"They were all by colors, so I would press another button and they would turn in front of me," Celine told James.
Since establishing residency at Caesar's Palace, Celine has relocated herself, and her 10,000 pairs of shoes, to Las Vegas, and has bought a large warehouse to accomodate her collection.
And she even credits her fashion obsession for helping her cope with the loss of her husband, Rene Angelil.
