Ciara just got accepted into Harvard Business School

Ciara isn't just a performer - and a Grammy award nominated one at that - she's also got some serious smarts.

Following in the footsteps of George W. Bush, Tyra Banks and LL Cool J, Ciara is headed to Harvard Business School. The pop star took to Instagram to announce that she's been accepted into the prestigious institution.

Ciara has been accepted into the Ivy League establishment's famous Entertainment, Media and Sports programme, which is run by Professor Anita Elberse, and she promptly shared the news on social media.

"I always dreamt of going to college, but by God's grace, my music career took me on a path that I'm so thankful for," she wrote. "This week I got accepted into Harvard! Words cannot describe my excitement!"

Per the university's website, admission to the three-day course is dependent on "professional achievement and organizational responsibilities."

Participants study the likes of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, the musical Hamilton and House of Cards to learn about the different kinds of success stories, and challenges that can be encountered in the entertainment industry.

And the 33-year-old has certainly been busy of late. Her latest album, Beauty Marks, was released earlier this month under her own label, Beauty Marks Entertainment, and she recently wowed at the Met Gala, where she rocked a sky-high afro, that complimented her emerald-green look perfectly.

The gown, which was designed by Peter Dundas, was embellished with green sequins, and featured cutouts along the shoulders and rib-cage. But because the theme was Camp, it didn't just end there, the dress also boasted a thigh-high slit, and a feather train.

Ciara completed the look with a pair of elbow-length gloves, and green strappy sandals.

The internet naturally went wild for the OTT look...

It seems like Ciara is talented in more ways than one.
