Dad brutally caught after sending wife snap of him in bed when actually on a night out

A father was caught trying to fool his wife into thinking he was in bed, when he was actually on a night out with the lads.

Damien Keegan, who hails from Dublin, Ireland, rushed home from the watering hole after his wife, who was vacationing in Spain, called him and asked for evidence that he was in bed.

The dad-of-four managed to convince his daughter to send pictures of him in bed to his wife, and then went straight back to the pub.

The 42-year-old nearly managed to get away with his cheeky ruse, but was discovered when his daughter uploaded the pictures to social media.

"Sh*t my ma asked is Da in bed and he’s acc in the pub but she’s on holiday and doesn’t know," his daughter Naomi tweeted.

''She asked me to take a pic of him in bed and he’s getting a taxi home to get a pic in the bed and then going back out,'' she continued. ''The things you’ve to do to go the pub when ur wife’s away… stinger da ye got caught after all.''

According to The Sun, the post ended up going viral and was eventually spotted by Damien's sister-in-law.

"It had gone viral all over the internet, and even got shared in Australia. The whole of Dublin was talking about it," Damien told the publication. "My wife was going mad, but you don’t stop when you start drinking."

Allegedly, it was the first time that the father had attempted such a thing, and he added that his taxi driver was so impressed that he refused to charge him for his ride.
