Donald Trump roasted for wearing 'tiny jacket' to dinner with the Queen
Donald Trump kicked off his second state visit to the United Kingdom on Monday, and he received quite the hostile welcome. There's the "Trump baby" blimp which has been soaring above Westminster and Whitehall to mark the occasion, and a British teenager - on behalf of environmentalist group Born Eco - even mowed a gigantic penis in the grass outside London Stansted airport.
But now, it's Trump's sartorial choices which are providing fodder for the people of the internet. The 45th President of the United States was mocked for the dinner jacket and waistcoat combo he donned for Monday evening's state banquet.
Before having dinner with the monarch, Trump and First Lady Melania, posed for a photograph with the Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall.
Her Royal Highness reportedly said she was "delighted" to receive the Trumps, and to celebrate "the longstanding friendship" between the two nations. Trump proceeded to call her a "great, great woman", before enjoying a meal of Windsor lamb and strawberry sable.
It was, however, Trump's clothing that garnered the most attention. People took to social media to point out that the President's white waistcoat appeared much longer than his dinner jacket, making it look rather tiny. Some joked that he had borrowed Baron's jacket - his youngest son - while others questioned whether Melania had accidentally shrunk it in the wash.
Well, it looks like Trump needs to be having words with his tailor!
