Cher has reportedly discovered she has a 15-year-old granddaughter she did not know about

Queen of pop, Cher, was reportedly left “speechless” after she recently discovered she had a 15-year-old granddaughter she did not know existed.
According to reports, the bombshell was dropped in an emotional phone call from the girl’s mother last year.
Former model, Kayti Edwards, says she told the ‘Believe’ singer that she had a brief romance with the 79-year-old’s second son, Elijah Allman, in 2010, which led to the birth of their daughter, Ever.
In an interview with The Sun, the California resident explained: “Cher got in touch with me last June and asked if it was true, so I had to confess."
The rumours began years ago
“She said she had heard something about it from Elijah back in 2021, but didn’t know if it was just crazy talk.
“When she heard the news, she was speechless."
Edwards, 49, told the alleged grandmother of her child that she had been friends with Guitarist Allman, also 49, for many years before the reported romance.
The now-mother-of-four explained that Allman was not a particularly present father, saying, “Elijah and I spent the night together, and I fell pregnant.
“He always knew from day one, but he never wanted to be a parent.
“He would pop in every couple of years but would just say hello.
“It wasn’t until 2021, when he overdosed on drugs, that he blurted out to his then-wife that he had a child.
“This is what started the rumors in the family."
However, teenage Ever has not missed out on parental love, as Kayti claims her husband has been her “true father” despite not being her biological dad.
In June last year, when Cher’s son was hospitalized following another overdose, the singer got in touch with Kayti to find out the truth about Ever’s parentage.
How did Cher react to the news?
Kayti said, “She wanted to know what had happened and then she asked me if it was true regarding Ever.
“That’s when I had to tell her the situation.”
In September, following the shock revelation, Cher invited Kayti and Ever to her Malibu home, where they stayed the night to get to know each other.
“She was lovely and kind and we had dinner.
“Cher asked Ever if she wanted to see her closet and showed her a pair of jeans she had worn in concert. It was a cool experience for her.
“They played in the pool and she spoke to Ever about school and asked her about boys,” Kayti explained.
The global superstar has previously made her wish to be a grandmother very clear.
On the 2018 press tour for Mamma Mia!, in which she played a glamorous grandma, she said in an interview: “I don’t have any grandchildren. I wish I did, I really do.”
Since the shock revelation, Cher is reportedly "really trying” to develop a relationship with her once-estranged granddaughter, and despite “still processing the news”, sent Ever a Christmas present and speaks with her on the phone.
