Amazon Prime Video users are have been left hot under the collar by the streamers steamy new series, which some have even likened to 'pornography'.
Currently streaming on Prime Video, the romantic drama series, Off Campus, has had people talking for its X-rated scenes - and it's already making a storm on Rotten Tomatoes too.
In fact, it's got a whopping 96% review on the site - which is no mean feat to achieve - making it one of the best-rated shows of the year.
Why has the show drawn attention?
The saucy series, which premiered on Prime last week, has drawn considerable attention for its graphic scenes, despite only being given a 15 age rating.
The show follows characters Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham, whose pretend relationship to make another man jealous slowly develops into a genuine romance after the two unexpectedly fall for each other.
Yet, it isn’t the premise that has got fans feeling the heat, but rather the show’s liberality around sex.
Viewers have been saying that it's like "watching porn legally"
The eight-episode series, which has been renewed for a second season, has numerous sex scenes that range from relatively tame to intense coital encounters.
Viewers have been vocal about their surprise around just how sexually-charged the show has been, with one X user saying: “Watching a series called 'Off campus' on Prime and it feels like I’m watching porn legally.”
Another quipped: “Watched first 6 episodes of off campus felt like I'm watching Porn with a good story.”
Admittedly, some haven’t been as enthusiastic, with another user saying: “Did I watch the wrong one, because there are only two intense sex scene there, everything else is like most of the other series.”
While someone else added: "So are the off campus sex scenes gonna be called porn too or is that just limited to heated rivalry cuz its gay."
