Which 'Friends' cast dated in real life? David Schwimmer has confirmed the actors' 'no sex contract was broken'
The Friends reunion is due to land on our screens in less than a week — and the same question is on everyone's lips again: which of the Friends cast dated in real life?
Jennifer Aniston, David Schwimmer, Matthew Perry, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox and Matt LeBlanc have been close since the '90s, but we have reason to believe that some of the actors may have been more than just "friends".
Back in 2016, when Schwimmer was asked about an alleged contract they had to sign saying that they couldn't sleep with each other, he replied, "Well, that was broken!" with a chuckle.
This, of course, sparked speculation regarding everyone from Cox and Perry to the hit sitcom's slew of celebrity guests.
So, who dated whom, and when? We have the breakdown..
Jennifer Aniston
Out of all the Friends cast, Jennifer Aniston dated the most co-stars in real life.
And no, her and David Schwimmer were never a thing — but she was involved with several of the supporting characters, including a certain Brad Pitt.

Brad Pitt
As we all know Aniston was married to Pitt Brad Pitt between 2000 and 2005. And the actor actually made a cameo on the show during this time! He starred in one episode as Ross' former high school friend, Will Colbert, in The One with the Rumour.
It made for hilarious viewing given that Will and Ross were once in an "I Hate Rachel" club, where they would spread nasty gossip about her.
Tate Donovan
The second of Aniston's Friends-related relationships was with Tate Donovan. The pair dated for three years before getting engaged in 1998.
Sadly, though, the engagement was brief, and the pair were actually breaking up in real life around the same time as Donovan's six-episode arc on Friends. Painfully, he played Rachel Green's love interest, Joshua Burgin.

Opening up about the experience, he told US Weekly in 2018: "The only bummer was Jennifer and I were breaking up at the time. And so that was tricky to sort of act, and act like we are just meeting each other, and falling in love, or whatever, interested in each other, when we're sort of breaking up. That was just tough."
"We were like, 'Hey, can we not keep doing this? 'Cause this is really painful and tough'," the actor continued. "The people that know that we dated think that we met on Friends. But in fact we had dated for two years before then, and it was over by the time we were on Friends together."
Paul Rudd
Aniston and Paul Rudd allegedly dated before Rudd was cast on Friends as Phoebe Buffay's love interest, Mike Hannigan, in 2002.
They reportedly started seeing each other while filming The Object of My Affection, and remained good friends after their split. So, it was much more of an amicable affair on-set than what the actress had with Tate Donovan.
Courteney Cox
While Courtney Cox didn't have many flings with the Friends cast, she was actually married to one of the show's special guests.

David Arquette
Cox, who played Monica Geller, was married to David Arquette from 1999 till their divorce in 2013. Arquette made an appearance in Friends as Phoebe's stalker, Malcolm, who ends up stalking Phoebe after mistaking her for her sister, Ursula.
The pair were actually pregnant with their daughter Coco during the 10th season.
Matthew Perry
Okay, so this one isn't technically official, but there are rumours that Cox and Matthew Perry — who were coupled up on-screen — had a dalliance.
Per a US Magazine source, Perry has "always been in love" with his co-star. I mean, it would certainly make sense as the actors are known to have a particularly close bond.
The insider added to the publication that Perry has also "never fully been able to get over her".
Matthew Perry
Julia Roberts
Roberts played Susie Moss — aka "Susie Underpants" — a girl that Chandler knew in the fourth grade. Of course, the characters ended up dating on the hit sitcom, and this coincided with real-life events.
After filming wrapped, the pair stayed in touch and began a romantic relationship.
Speaking about their time together on the show, writer Alexa Junge revealed: "[Roberts] was giving him these questionnaires like, 'Why should I go out with you?' And everyone in the writer's room helped him explain to her why. He could do pretty well without us. But there was no question we were on Team Matthew and trying to make it happen for him. There was a lot of flirting over faxing."
Perry and Roberts dated for about a year in 1995, before calling it quits.
Yasmine Bleeth
As all Chandler fans will know, the character had a massive crush on Baywatch star, Yasmine Bleeth. But while the actress never actually appeared on the show in person, Perry did end up dating her for a short period of time in 1996, following his split from Julia Roberts.
