'Pretty Little Liars' star reveals the $34 beauty product that she never leaves the house without
When it comes to cosmetics, we're almost spoilt for choice. In between all the Sephoras and Ultas of the world, we have a slew of brands which promise to conceal, cover and correct any imperfections we may have. And yeah, when you have a pimple the size of Mars on your face, this is pretty great - but really, who needs four different shades of red lipstick and approximately half a dozen bronze eyeshadows?

One celeb that has her beauty routine down pat is Lucy Hale. The Pretty Little Liars actress is known to wash her face four times a day, and she follows a pretty intensive 15-step skin-care regimen. Now, she's revealed the one product that she never leaves home without - and don't worry, it's affordably priced at just $34...
Lucy Hale doesn't do things by halves when it comes to beauty.
She does, however, have some tried and true favourites that have even gained Kensington Palace's stamp of approval. Hale's favourite nail polish shade is Essie's Ballet Slippers, and it's beloved by Queen Elizabeth II, Kate Middleton, and of course, by brides all across the globe. "I love Essie nail polishes. When it comes to colours, I typically keep it natural," Hale said in a recent interview with People, where she cited Ballet Slippers as her favourite shade.
It's purportedly the only nail polish that the Queen wears, and as we all know, it's the colour that the Duchess of Cambridge donned on her wedding day.
Now, Hale has revealed the one product which she never leaves the house without, and in true Cali-girl fashion, it's sunscreen. The 29-year-old uses SkinCeuticals Physical Matte UV Defence SPF 50 as her daily sunscreen, and it clocks in at a rather affordable $34.
"I never skimp on sunscreen, even when it's cloudy out," she disclosed to People. "I love that [SkinCeuticals] has a matte finish."
Hale also spoke about how she keeps her hair so healthy. To combat the toll that constant travelling and styling takes on her hair, she uses Kristen Ess Strand Strengthening Reconstructive Moisture Mask. "When I travel, the water is so drastically different than what my hair is used to, so I have to make sure that I bring a deep conditioning mask," she stated. "This one [created by] my hairstylist Kristin Ess is really amazing. The mask is sold at Target, so anyone can get their hands on it, even if Ess isn't your actual stylist."
Her final tip? Make your fragrances memorable. "I also love buying new fragrances wherever I go to remind myself of the trip that I've gone on," Hale told the publication. I mean, who doesn't want to smell like a tropical vacay?
