Jason Momoa wore a pink Fendi scrunchie to the Oscars and the internet can't get enough

The colour pink had a moment on the red carpet during this year's Oscars. From Kacey Musgraves' pale pink Giambattista Valli confection - which yes, bore a striking resemblance to a loofah - to the dresses worn by Gemma Chan, Linda Cardellini, Sarah Paulson and Helen Mirren, to name just a few, it's apparent that the way to make a sartorial statement in 2019 is to wear pink head-to-toe.

A more understated example of this was Jason Momoa. The actor turned up to Sunday's award ceremonies in a pink velvet Fendi suit. But what caught the attention of the internet was his commitment to the theme.

Reader, he accessorised with a pink scrunchie, worn proudly on his wrist.

So yeah, not only did the Aquaman star's outfit perfectly match his wife Lisa Bonet's gown, but he even matched his scrunchie to his suit!

Momoa later told Access that his suit was actually designed around the now-infamous hair accessory. "Well the whole suit was built off of my scrunchie," he said. "I said I want a suit that looks like that. And so then Fendi made the scrunchie."

Of course, the internet just couldn't get enough of it all, understandably.

We stan a man who knows how to accessorise.
