Model slammed after complaining about being seated too close to baby on flight
A model took to social media yesterday to complain about a crying baby on a flight, asserting that she'd rather be seated next to an animal.
24-year-old Angela Panari posted on her Instagram stories yesterday, and the post proved to be controversial with her fans. The influencer, who hails from Indonesia, was slammed online by her 1.9 million followers after saying "I'd agree more with allowing pets inside the airplane cabin rather than babies."
While the story was only live for a short time, people managed to screenshot and circulate the photo online.
"I immediately deleted my story. The story was up for less than five minutes but some people captured it already until it went viral," Panari later told DetikHot.
Naturally, it was parents who took the most offence with the post, with many saying that she could one day be a mother, and should be more sympathetic.
The model has since apologised for the Instagram story, explaining that she was just frustrated as the baby had cried throughout the flight. "I apologize for the mistake I made because of my emotions. I was angered so I posted that story. I promise not to repeat this kind of behavior again and I took this as a lesson," she wrote.
"I took pity on her because she seemed so stressed out and her baby was still hysterical," she added about the mother.
