Man caught masturbating over squatting woman banned from gym for life

A man who was caught masturbating while watching a woman at the gym has now been banned for life from the establishment.
The incident was first revealed to those operating the gym after another client of the outlet caught the man on film, as he moved his hands underneath his shorts while watching another gym-goer squat.
Twitter user @heleneargy took the video at a Virgin Active gym in Stellenbosch, a university town in South Africa. The gym member then posted it with the intent of the tweet going viral, therefore ensuring the man faced consequences.

In the footage, the man does little to hide what he's doing from other people at the gym.
"I want this man's face to go viral," @heleneargy wrote on Twitter. "This was at the Virgin Active in Stellenbosch @virginactiveSA. Absolutely abysmal behaviour.'

Soon enough, local media picked up on the incident, and the branch of Virgin Active made sure to take immediate action. Citing the man's "depraved behaviour," they responded to the tweet to confirm his membership had been terminated.

A spokesperson for the chain of gyms clarified that this was a life ban from each of their facilities. It is unclear if any legal action has been taken or if the police have become involved at this time.
