Four Nine is on a mission to spark a New Year’s Revolution. This January, we’re encouraging you to join our loneliness rebellion, focusing on creating connection rather than resolutions this 2022.
We want you to take action to reconnect with old friends and create connections with new friends, whilst also embracing solitude and alone time because sometimes being alone doesn’t have to mean lonely.
Depending on whether you identify with being introverted or extroverted or somewhere in between, loneliness can impact all of us differently.
Understanding where you are on the scale of introversion and extroversion can help you understand your loneliness better. For example, do you often feel lonely in a crowd? Do you find it difficult to spend time alone? We’re here to help you understand yourself better so that you can manage your feelings of loneliness more effectively.
We talk to you about your experiences with loneliness, your advice to others on how to overcome it, and why your friends mean so much to you.
Join our new Facebook group ‘Friendship Diaries’ where you can submit your friendship dilemmas anonymously, receive helpful advice from other group members and potentially even have your problem answered by Four Nine’s resident agony aunt in our weekly series ‘Ask Four Nine’.
Our resident agony aunt and expert psychologist Dr Linda Papadopoulos addresses your friendship dilemmas and issues in a weekly series designed to help you create better friendships and connections.
