Someone told this woman they "couldn't believe" she landed her husband, and her response is epic
"Drew is a babe," wedding photographer Jenna Kutcher says of her husband. "I know that, I see that, I love that and to me, he’s the most handsome man on the planet. Since I’ve always struggled with weight, it’s sometimes hard being married to a man with muscles and a six-pack."
The 29-year-old social media influencer is all for body positivity and actively promotes a healthy message about perspectives on weight and how everyone – and every body – is different. However, the fact that she's married to a veritable hunk with well-defined muscles and washboard abs seems to baffle people.
"I see the way people stare at him on the beach and the narrative in my head sounds like, 'Why should you deserve a man like him? You’re fat, he should be with someone so much better looking'," she told Yahoo Lifestyle.
Jenna shares images of herself flaunting her curves to her 200,000 followers on Instagram, and pictures promoting her professional pursuits, as well as couple pics of her and Drew. As a wedding photographer, their pictures are naturally gorgeous and not too OTT. Still, this didn't stop trolls from messaging Jenna with abuse saying they "couldn't believe" she was able to land a guy like Drew.
"Someone once slid into my DMs and told me they couldn’t believe I had managed to land a guy as good looking as @kickingitwithkutch," she wrote on a recent post on Instagram. "I’ll be honest that I was taken aback."
"Part of my insecurity with my body has stemmed around being married to Mr 6-Pack himself," she went on. "Why should I, a curvy girl get him? I feel unworthy and when I write narratives in my head that because I am not thin, I don’t deserve him."
However, she hit home with an empowering message that her self-worth, as well as the real, unequivocal love from her husband, were all that mattered.
"This man has embraced every curve, every dimple, pound and pimple for the last ten years and has always me reminded me that I’m beautiful even when my inner dialogue doesn’t match (and when I haven’t showered in days.)
So yes, my thighs kiss, my arms are big, and my bum is bumpy but there is just more of me for him to love and I chose the man that could handle alllll that (and so much more!)
I am so much more than my body, so is he, and so are you."
Jenna's post attracted more than 40,000 likes and was flooded with comments from people thanking her for her honesty about addressing the potentially harmful message she received. She reminded followers that self-acceptance is everything, and that it shouldn't be compromised by "stories" we tell ourselves (or hear from others).
"I hope that women can see that yes, they can be loved just as they are and that oftentimes the stories we are telling ourselves in our head aren’t true," Jenna told Yahoo Lifestyle.

"I got so many messages from women saying they felt so insecure because of being married to a good-looking man, and I think it was a launch pad for a conversation that all stems back to owning our own beauty and our own power."
Good on you Jenna, and thanks for the reality check.
