The world’s first guitar shaped hotel is opening in Florida and you won’t believe your eyes
If you're one of those people who gets immense satisfaction from winning the musical round during trivia quizzes, you'll be overjoyed to learn that a hotel fit for the biggest of music aficionados is opening in the autumn.
Beginning October 2019, you will be able to book a stay inside a 450-foot-tall guitar shaped hotel which looks over a 4.5 acre lagoon-style pool. The south Florida hotel was designed to resemble two back-to-back guitars, and has floor-to-ceiling glass panels spanning the length of the building.
Is it time to check Skyscanner yet? I think so.
The hotel is part of the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. If that rings a bell, it's because it's been part of the Florida skyline since the early 2000's. It's recently undergone a $1.5 billion renovation, however, making it even more of an attraction.
This revamp overhauled the Hard Rock's casino area, restaurants and bars, as well as the pool area. When the renovation is complete this autumn, the hotel will include 16 restaurants, 20 bars and three hotel towers for you to stay in. Oh and there's also a luxury spa and casino with over 100 tables, and thousands of slots.
Restaurant options include everything from continental to Vietnamese, and the nightclub boasts performers like Maroon 5.
For those looking for a VIP experience, you can rent bungalows with private pools too.
The bigger and better Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino officially opens its doors on the 24th October, but you can make reservations from the 24th July.
