This artist drew all the scenes we wish we'd seen in 'Game of Thrones' season 8 and fans are loving it

It's safe to say that the final season of Game of Thrones hasn't been a hit with fans.

A petition asking HBO to remake the eighth season has already garnered over 800,000 signatures after the penultimate episode's shocking denouement. Viewers were unhappy with Daenerys Targaryen's character arc, as she descended into full Mad Queen mode, ignoring the surrender bells of King's Landing, and burning everything in her path, including innocent women and children.

Luckily, one artist put his skills to use and created the GoT season 8 that we deserved in a gorgeously illustrated comic. Benjamin Dewey shared the comic, titled The Scenes I Wish We'd Got, to his Instagram and Patreon accounts. On the former, he explained that while he's a die hard fan of the HBO series, "even the best shows can prompt your imagination to conjure alternate storylines and thrilling imagery."
