Ariana Grande's candid sex confession has resurfaced after her accidental wardrobe malfunction on Instagram.
In a 2019 Vogue cover interview, the pop star reflected on her music career and revealed that while some of her biggest hit songs lacked "substance", they still had their place.
"A lot of my singles have been hilariously lacking in substance. You're talking to someone who put 'Side to Side' out as a single. I love that song, but it's just a fun song about sex," she said at the time.
When the interviewer asked her if she ever felt uncomfortable performing songs with sexual themes to audiences that included children as young as nine, Grande insisted parents should embrace honest conversations rather than avoid them.
"They're for sure gonna have it. I promise. I promise that your kid's gonna have sex. So if she asks you what the song's about, talk about it," she added.
Grande laughs off accidental Instagram wardrobe slip
The comments have resurfaced as the now 32-year-old musician found herself at the center of another online conversation after fans spotted what appeared to be an accidental wardrobe malfunction in a recent Instagram photo dump.
The 'Thank U Next' singer shared a series of snapshots from her daily life, including one showing her petting a dog wearing what appeared to be a "do not pet" harness.
Instead, online users focused on the fact that Grande's left breast was faintly visible through her red-and-white checkered babydoll dress.
The image quickly spread across social media, with fans sharing their reactions after finally spotting the detail.
"It took me 5 minutes staring at the photo to even realize," one Reddit user wrote.
"Oh Ari," another fan commented, while someone else added: "I saw it immediately because the picture before it was in the same dress and then when she was leaned over, I was like oh my God that's her boob."
Others questioned why the snap had amassed so much discussion. "Why is everyone acting like this is the scandal of the century over a nipple?" one person wrote.
Another asked: "I wonder if this is intentional?"
Grande responds with humor
Rather than addressing the situation directly, the '7 Rings' superstar appeared to poke fun at the attention by sharing a throwback clip to her Instagram Stories.
The video featured her former Victorious co-star Elizabeth Gillies in a parody of the film Showgirls.
In the clip, Gillies tells Grande: "You have great t*ts. They're really beautiful." Grande then responds: "Thank you."
Fans praised her response, with one writing: "This is the best response she could have made for this." Another chimed in: "I love how unbothered she is. she’s so mother for that."
The Wicked actress is currently on her Eternal Sunshine Tour, her first concert tour in seven years.
The tour began in early June and is scheduled to conclude with a 10-night residency in London in September.
