Rihanna apparently has 'lookalike models' to test out wild eyebrow styles so she doesn't have to

Rihanna, à la Madonna and Beyoncé, is almost always referred to by her first name, which makes sense, because like her predecessors, she's transcended what it means to be a pop-star.

Certainly, whether she's picking up another Grammy award, or delivering a sartorial touchdown, Rihanna has mastered the art of having multiple hyphens to her name. There's her recent role in the all-female Oceans Eight, and then her stab at entrepreneurship - Rihanna launched Fenty Beauty last year - a makeup range with provides POC with the most diverse range of shades seen in a commercial venture.

But it apparently doesn't come easy. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, celebrity brow artist, Damone Roberts, revealed Rihanna's very bougie habit of testing out potential makeup looks on other people first.

Time is money, after all.

Roberts explained that the first time he worked with Rihanna - who is now one of his "favourite people" - was just before this year's Met Gala. The singer, who had the idea to lighten her eyebrows, obviously didn't want to dive straight into the bleaching process herself.

"Rihanna's so fly that she has a lookalike model come by your space and you try out different looks on the eyebrows on the model, and you send pictures to Rihanna and she decides whether she wants to do it or not," Roberts asserted. "So, literally, a lookalike model—we trialed and tried and everything else until we got them perfect, and we sent Rihanna the pictures."

The brow artist said that he didn't hear back from Rihanna until two days before the Met Gala, when she reportedly replied, "I loved them! You gotta fly to N.Y. and take care of me!"

Roberts, obviously, travelled immediately to New York to give the pop-star the bleached look that worked so well with her knockout ensemble. "Of course Rihanna shut down the show! It was really, really special," he concluded.

In another example of Rihanna's commitment to being as extra as possible, she recently revealed what advice she'd give her younger self.

Rihanna hosted her annual Diamond Ball in September, and spoke to E! News on the red carpet, where she was quizzed on what advice she'd give her younger self. But instead of waxing lyrical about the benefits of practicing yoga or mindfulness, she kept it real.

"Sleep," she bluntly replied. "Because you're not gonna get to do it in your twenties or your thirties, the way my thirties are starting out."

But although the pop-star has such a packed schedule, she wouldn't have it any other way. "It's been hectic but I love it," she continued. "I love to do stuff. I get bored otherwise, so I like to keep myself busy."

Amen to that.
