Cardi B shared a horrifying story about getting illegal butt injections and we have no words
We've heard tales of botched cosmetic surgeries before, but this one from Cardi B has to be one of the most alarming. Some unlucky people have been left with lop-sided breasts or had their flesh literally start rotting from questionable fillers, but the American rapper revealed that she got illegal butt injections in a New York City basement from a doctor whose next client "died on her table".
The 25-year-old told GQ that she paid a low price of $800 for the fillers– a procedure that usually costs about $9000 – and was recommended the Queens-based "doctor" by friends. She recounted the horrifying experience which was extremely painful to the point of her almost passing out. She added that her illegally injected fillers also leaked for almost a week after.
"They don't numb your ass with anything," she recalled. "It was the craziest pain ever. I felt like I was gonna pass out. I felt a little dizzy. And it leaks for, like, five days."
The Bodak Yellow singer said she wanted a bigger booty because she noticed that her colleagues made more money stripping than she did if they had bigger butts. On top of that, she just found out that her boyfriend at the time had been cheating on her with a woman who had a "fat, big ass".
The breakout rapper has admitted before in an interview with DJ Vlad that working in strip clubs had influenced her decision to get cosmetic surgery. She said she always wanted bigger boobs since she was 16, but once she started working at the strip club she felt it was a "necessity" to get them done.
Cardi added that she was also "desperate" to get a bigger butt, but realised she couldn't get it the usual way because she didn't have enough fat on her (she explained that stripping made her "pop" with a six pack and all). "In order to get lipo, where they put the fat transfer in your ass and it gets bigger, you need to have fat. I did not have no type of fat," she said. "But I was desperate to have a bigger ass."
She got the number of the "doctor" from the recommendation of friends, which is how she ended up in the Queens basement for the illegal procedure. Despite the leaks and the near-fainting of the initial session, Cardi decided to go back in for a touch-up, only to discover that the woman had suddenly disappeared.
"By the time I was gonna go get it, the lady got locked up 'cause she's supposedly killed somebody," she explained. "Well, somebody died on her table."

The hugely successful stripper-turned-rapper released her latest album this week titled Invasion of Privacy. In the third song on the album, Bickenhead, Cardi says it's cornbread, collard greens and neck bones that are responsible for her voluptuous figure – so maybe let's stick to that!
